The Wirraway is Australia’s first mass produced aircraft and most iconic RAAF trainer of WWII. Production began in 1939 and 755 of the type were produced. It is a rugged and reliable aircraft with only three left flying in Australia and A20-695 is the only one based in Queensland. Wirraway is the Aboriginal word meaning “Challenge” and it lives up to its name. Will you take the Challenge?
